FDS CELEBRATES 5 MILLIONTH FLAT WRAP USING ENVIRO BAGS
This week Flat Wrap Distribution Services celebrates its estimated 5 millionth flat wrap paper using enviro friendly bags. Flat Wrap Distribution Services sourced exclusive rights to the Joyner-X flat wrap machine developed in Japan five years ago and hasn't looked back since.
The Joyner-X machine features the latest Japanese flat wrapping technology allows newspapers or magazines to be delivered to residential or commercial properties in a professional enviro friendly bag that is far superior to the current rolled newspapers being home delivered. This technology also dramatically reduces turn-around time by up to 40%.
Ray Daniels of PMP Distribution said his company had been using the Joyner-X for nine months and immediately recognised the productivity benefits. "The Joyner-X replaces the work of eight employees to only three, which as you can imagine is extremely cost effective for our business in the long term, Mr Daniels said.
"The response from our customers has been very positive. No longer are newspaper recipients receiving rolled up papers they can't read. The perfect pages from the printing press remain intact and the paper is in prime condition no matter what the weather, Mr Daniels said.
